Learn how SoleSavy works & where to find important information

First and foremost, welcome to the SoleSavy community! We are a private sneaker community that is anti-bot and anti-reseller. Our goal is to eliminate the stress and frustration of bots buying up sneakers before individuals even have a chance to purchase them.

Bots are designed to benefit resellers. So when bots buy up a bunch of sneakers, resellers turn around and sell those sneakers at a cost much higher than retail value. SoleSavy’s mission is to keep that from happening.

We teach you methods on how to get your hands on new releases through our educational materials and webinars that can be found in the #announcement-releases channel in slack. Also, through our tightly knit community, technology, and our team of round-the-clock experts, you’ll find the support that will lead you to successfully copping those new releases.

However, keep in mind that hype drops will always be tough to cop, no matter how experienced you are at using our methods. Once you understand the methods and information, you’ll be able to save time and money and avoid dealing with resellers. SoleSavy also gives you a community space where you can swap knowledge, experiences, and much more with passionate sneakerheads like yourself.

We use exclusive strategies that help you beat bots so that you have a chance to

cop the new releases you have your eye on. You can find articles on those strategies in our members-only education center. In the center, you'll see these guides:

  • The articles help you understand how to use our technology - such as our anti-bot tools and pre-cart links. You will also learn to use Slack as a marketplace, which are other ways to successfully cop new releases. Our guides and articles are designed to help, and once you get the hang of things, you’ll understand why the initial work pays off.

  • Access to our members-only Slack community

Our members-only Slack is where you can interact with other SoleSavy members. Share information and make valuable connections with other sneakerheads who share the same interests as you. The SoleSavy team manually vets each member!

  • SoleSavy Sneaker Monitors

Through Slack, you have access to our monitors. Monitors eliminate the need to refresh a page waiting for apparel or a shoe to release.

The monitors will find your desired items for you as quickly as any bot can. This is a key advantage you can create for yourself when shopping online. Waiting for a person to tweet a link or post it for you is a waste of time when our monitors do it INSTANTLY.

Our sneaker monitors provide instant links to purchase products in your size on major shopify-based websites such as KITH, Livestock, HAVEN, Hanon, Sneaker Politics, UNDFTD, and more. We also provide instant release notifications for Supreme, SNKRS, SSENSE, and other non-Shopify websites.

  • Dedicated Member Support Channels

In Slack, you can communicate with other members, but you can also communicate with your Community Leaders.

As a community, we give our full support to all members. We encourage new members to ask questions and engage with us. We offer members resources to be successful at copping sneakers they desire.

  • The SoleSavy Member Store

The member store is exclusive to SoleSavy members. For retail cost, you’ll be

able to find sneakers that you may have missed out on before. We don’t make a

profit from these sales. They are simply sneakers that we acquired at retail. They

are sneakers that we want to get into the hands of our members.

You can find the member store under links on solesavy.com & make sure to ask your community leader what the latest password is.

  • Raffle Release Management

Raffles consist of submitting an entry to win a chance at purchasing a new sneaker. Stores usually choose limited releases to be raffled. Daily, we provided a list of North America and International raffles to enter. A typical raffle entry will require you to submit an email, mailing address, phone, shoe size, and payment information. If you are selected as a winner, you will be charged the retail price. Then the shoe will either be shipped or picked up from the store.

Most of what’s listed above takes place in Slack because Slack is the crucial part of being a SoleSavy member. However, as a reminder, you need to do some leg-work prior to joining the community. Make sure you read and complete all of the courses and articles and watch all of our educational content. Learning all of the materials will set you up for success so that you can get the most out of being a member of our Slack community. If you don’t educate yourself with our articles and videos, you will not be able to cop any sneakers.

Benefits from our Slack community:

Here are three ways you benefit from being a part of the Slack community:

  1. You have access to the add to cart (ATC) and pre-cart links, and monitors. These are all customized technology that our team has exclusively built to help you cop sneakers. We’ll go into more detail about these things in your courses. Slack will also be where you’ll find giveaways, raffles, and customer support.

  2. You can engage with other members. You can talk about anything from what you think of a specific release to what you're specifically wearing that day. There’s a wealth of information that you can learn and share. You can even talk about sports or music. It’s a fun and open way to have camaraderie in the sneaker world.

  3. You can use Slack as a marketplace by selling and buying sneakers in our marketplace channels.

Slack Channels:

All important communications from SoleSavy are posted in the #announcements-releases and #announcements-solesavy channels, and it’s imperative that you read and see everything. That way, you are up to date on everything that occurs.

#announcements-releases provides all of the release information (upcoming releases, ATC & pre-cart links, Shopify sites, stock numbers, and raffles).

#announcements-solesavy provides you with company updates (giveaways, member features, podcasts, and articles).

Based on what you’re looking for, you get to decide what the other important channels are. There is no requirement for you to be involved in the other channels, but many members find they have more success when they keep an eye on some of the other specific channels.

For instance, if you’re watching out for a specific pair of Jordans, you probably want to pay close attention to the #monitor-jordan channel.

By default, you’ll be added to these channels:

When you join the channel that's associated with your size, you'll be connected to other members with the same shoe size. A benefit of this is getting information about what's available in your size. It's also a good way to use Slack as a marketplace to post about selling/buying/trading sneakers that you know are available in your size. To join a channel in your city, you just search for the channel by putting #size and then your size. #size-11, for example, is the channel you'd want to join if you wear size 11.

Keep in mind, you can choose to mute or leave any of these channels if you want to. You can see how to mute channels here:

Notifications:

There’s a LOT of information on Slack. So you will want to organize your notifications to avoid being bombarded with a bunch of notifications all at once.

To Manage Channel Specific Notifications you:

  1. Open the channel or group DM.

  2. Click the “i” details icon to open the Channel or Conversation settings menu.

  3. Select Notifications.

  4. Choose your notification preferences and whether you’d like to use different settings for mobile devices.

  5. Click the “close” icon in the top right to save and exit.

What are monitors & how do they work:

A great feature that you’ll have with your membership is access to our monitor channels.

Our sneaker monitors track over 450+ websites worldwide for updates to those store’s stock and releases. If a shoe is added to a store's website, that monitor will instantly detect it and post an update to the corresponding Slack monitor channel.

For example, when we expect a product to release at a specific time and from a particular site, we should be prepared to use the monitors. This means being in the correct monitor channel and waiting for the instant update at release time. If you are looking for a Jordan release, for example, use the #_monitor-jordan channel and so forth for each brand.

You can use monitors for releases, new releases, and restocks, and you can set up monitor channels based on brand, store, and region.

As long as you keep a close eye on the monitor channels that you choose to follow, you’ll have a better chance of copping the sneakers you’ve been waiting for.

When you're not at your desktop, the SoleSavy mobile app DROPS is great tool to use when you're waiting on a specific drop. On the app, you'll want to set up notifications for a specific drop. That way, you’ll always be ready for the drop no matter if you're at your desktop or not.

A handy feature on the mobile app is our Drop Alerts feature. With Drop Alerts, you’ll get notifications the second a new item drops or is restocked. It’s an easy way to cop and save plenty of time. To access, you’ll just want to go to your app store, search for SoleSavy, and download the app. To log into the app, just use the same log-in credentials you use to log into solesavy.com. Download the app here.

Of course, if you’re doing this, it’s also good to have Slack downloaded on your phone already.

Where to find training:

To find all of the training and education information, you just need to log into your account on SoleSavy.com. To log in, you use the email address and password that you signed up with.

You can find all of the training information at the top of the site under resources and courses.
