The queue is a feature shopify websites offer, that puts you into a virtual first come first serve line when there is high traffic. The queue is triggered automatically when there is a high volume of people attempting to checkout.

Pre-carting is the method we use to greatly increase our chances at copping a pair of shoes. Pre-Carting only works on Shopify based sites only. It is when you add an item into your cart prior to release and go through the checkout workflow without paying before a release.

We do this before every release to ensure the Shopify site we are trying to purchase sneakers on doesn’t get caught up in a previous session. This will ensure you don’t get double queued or you don’t have to do two captchas.

Typically, the queue goes live about 3 to 5 minutes before a release. The best way to time the queue is to keep notifications on the #announcements-releases channel and wait for a SoleSavy staff to inform the members the queue is live.

The dummy item can be any item found on a Shopify website, that you would use to enter the queue. We usually try to find the cheapest item such as shoe wipes, but it can literally be any item. You can choose to either purchase this dummy item alongside the actual item you want, or remove it from your cart as you checkout.

The best way to catch a restock is to turn notifications on for the #monitor-checkpoint channel. This will tell you when the checkpoint is up for a particular retailer. Then you can go to your browser and perform the pre-carting method and go to either #monitor-filtered or #monitor-lateshipments and wait for something to release on that website.

If you see in #monitor-checkpoint that the checkpoint is live for the site you are trying to purchase on, you can go to https://<shopify site URL>/checkpoint to solve the captcha.

Unfortunately, we don’t know what shoes will be dropping. Oftentimes, when a store puts up a queue, nothing may drop as well. Keep an eye out for if a store puts up an hCaptcha queue, this likely means they will be dropping something more desirable.

For these websites, we have an advantage because we can get the add to cart link early. This is why we have different methods for these three websites.

We would recommend you begin your pre-cart prep 30 minutes before release.

This is dependent per release. We recommend that you keep an eye on the release guides provided in the #announcements-releases channel, as our team will rank the Shopify boutiques in order based on stock for that release. If you see a boutique you feel confident with, stick with them for that release.

The best place to start is going to our training tool at https://training.solesavy.com/login and aim for a time under 30 seconds. However, The best practice in general is to practice on a release you are not going for, but simply do not click ‘pay now’ if you are able to get to the payment screen.

You can login using the same email address you used when signing up for SoleSavy and the password can be found in the topic in the #announcements-releases channel.

SoleSavy does not give you extra raffle entries unfortunately. But we do have a #raffles channel that will help you enter every legitimate raffle that exists for any particular shoe. You can also use the raffle manager in the SoleSavy DROPS app to make sure you don’t miss any raffle.

Yes! Every shopify store that appears in our monitors are legitimate retailers.

There is absolutely no reselling in this group. Our encouragement is, that if you can get multiple pairs, that you help others out by selling it for retail, and that hopefully, others can help you out as well. That being said, trading is okay, a fair trade is based on market value. If you do want to sell your sneakers, you can sell them for retail or less.

Login to your google chrome profile on a PC. From there, click the three dots at the top right. From there, click on Settings > under Auto Fill > click on payment methods and/or addresses. Saving your address and your credit card information will save precious time on release day. Also, make sure you memorize your CVV number (the three digits on the back of your credit card).
