A great aspect with COLLECT is that you can ship internationally between Canada and the US. However, there are some extra things to keep in mind when doing so. In addition to paying for the cost of sneakers, members will need to consider import costs.

Importing into the United States

Via all postal services:

  • Up to $800 USD in value:

    • Duty Free

  • Over $800 USD in value:

    • Full duties (Usually 10% - based on HTS Code 6403)

    • State tax may apply

    • Brokerage/processing fee

  • Over $2000 USD in value:

    • Formal entry required (paperwork, slows down the overall process significantly)

    • Full duties (Usually 10% - based on HTS Code 6403)

    • State tax may apply

    • Brokerage/processing fee

You can find more information here and here.

Importing into Canada:

Via Governmental postal services worldwide (Canada Post, USPS, etc):

  • Up to $20 CAD in value:

    • Duty & Tax free

  • Over $20 CAD in value:

    • Duty & tax applied based on provincial rates

You can find more information here.

If you are using a non government courier, any packages valued at over $20 CAD is also subject to courier handling fees on top of potential duties and taxes.

Importing elsewhere:

As of this moment, COLLECT by SoleSavy only supports those in the United States and Canada.
