Introduction to the Role

SoleSavy is building the next generation of paid communities and marketplace. Our mission is to make collecting sneakers accessible and bring like-minded communities together. We are looking for an enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to be one of the representatives and voices of our brand. As a Brand Ambassador, you’ll play a key role in elevating brand awareness of SoleSavy and facilitating engagement with members across communities. You'll be focused on continuing engagement in slack communities, while also onboarding new members into each community, encouraging them to engage with the community as a whole, and providing them with information and support they need in order to get the most value out of their new sneaker community.

Responsibilities

Everything we do starts with authentic relationships. That's why each Brand Ambassador begins with our slack communities. When you're a Brand Ambassador at SoleSavy, you're not just a partner, you're an extension of our brand and an inspiration to our existing and new members to come. Our Brand Ambassadors connect us to communities and provide us with insightful feedback so we can innovate and grow. Through our program, you will receive development tools and experiences, priority in knowing new products down the pipeline and testing them, and meet a network of like-minded people. If you're passionate about building and nurturing relationships that elevate your community, we'd love to get to know you. The following core responsibilities are based on the following.

Fundamental Responsibilities

  • Familiarize yourself with the company’s mission, vision, and goals

  • Maintain a positive image of SoleSavy at all times and generate public interest into our communities

  • Create better experiences for all members

Slack Community Responsibilities

  • Drive engagement and support existing and new community members

  • Drive and encourage members to engage with you & their slack community - help everyone feel comfortable asking questions and using the platform

  • Lead discussions and engage members in day-to-day topics

In-Person Event Responsibilities

  • Represent the community at product launches and in person events

  • Create meaningful connections with members in local areas

  • Open opportunities to enhance membership growth and commitment

Requirements

Brand Ambassadors are to be identified based on the following criteria, but not limited to:

  • Loyal to SoleSavy and the brand mission
    Passionate about sneakers and understand it's history

  • Embody the definition of being a member, and contributes to the culture and best practices

  • Identified as a trusted ally within their respective community

  • Contributes to consistent engagement across slack channels

  • Remains as a source of encouragement and supports all members and not just to their own “cliques”

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality

Perks + Benefits

Brand Ambassadors will receive the following SoleSavy perks and rewards if selected to participate in the program:

  • Full year paid membership

  • Paid expenses for in-person meetings and standard day rate stipend

  • “Night out” on us to region specific events. (i.e. concerts, shows, sports events, movies)

  • SS Merchandise

  • SS3 Sneaker free of charge

  • Early access to new community initiatives to provide feedback

  • Opportunity to collaborate with the SoleSavy staff on various initiatives and conceptualize campaigns and strategies

  • Opportunity in creating website and social media content to drive brand awareness and attract new members

Recruitment Process

  • Applications submitted will be reviewed by executive leadership and Community Department leads

  • If application is selected, applicant will be contacted and interview process will take place via Zoom

  • Final selection of Brand Ambassadors will be based on the requirements listed above, regional area, overall slack contribution and engagement, and interview discussion outcome
