Welcome to SoleSavy's Women’s community! We provide the necessary tools and knowledge to help you secure the products you want for retail. Whether you own hundreds of pairs or are just getting started, this women-led group is here to support you.

In this private community, you’ll find other women who share the same passion for sneakers as you do. Aside from helping you cop sneakers for retail, we hold open conversations about anything and everything tied to sneakers, whether it’s upcoming releases, sneaker news, fashion, and more.

Introduction to Slack:

Slack is the private instant messaging platform that lets SoleSavy staff and members interact with each other. Here you will receive important updates and have access to Monitors. Members use slack to stay connected to the community.

Important Channels:

Slack is organized into multiple channels with the most important being #announcements. We encourage members to keep an eye on announcements to avoid missing release or event information. All other channels operate as monitors or cater to specific discussion topics. Members have the option to enable notifications for each channel to be immediately notified once an update is posted.

Slack Etiquette:

Pro tip to keeping slack conversions organized & coherent use threads instead of responding with a new post. Simple hover over a posts you will see a little chat box select that to directly respond to that post within a thread

Support:

As a community, we give our full support to all members. We encourage new members to ask questions and engage with us. We offer members resources to be successful at copping sneakers they desire.

The member's site gives you access to courses on how to effectively use or methods. The same courses can be accessed through the SoleSavy Sneakers App. Feel free to reach out to community leaders with questions.

Curate Your Notifications

Certain notifications on slack are automatically enabled and we know this means you're getting bombarded by notifications when you first join.

Make sure to leave your notifications on for the #Announcements channel that way you will never miss anything important.

Try turning off a lot of your notifications for other channels then start enabling them one by one when you know what’s really going to be important to you.

You can do this from your desktop on slack by right clicking on the channel to either mute that channel. On Mobile click on the channel name then notifications.

The current state of the sneaker market makes it difficult to cop any popular shoe. There’s an on-going battle between the everyday consumer, bots, and sneaker resellers. The more hype behind the sneaker the harder it is getting your hands on the shoe. This can be discouraging for women in particular, due to most brands being male-focused and not providing inclusive sizes for women thus reducing chances at even obtaining the shoe.

SoleSavy is here to prepare you for those anticipated drops we post release guides and other sneaker-related info that you may want to know beforehand. Make sure you're paying attention to #announcements channel that's where we post all of our important info we think the community needs to know.

Here at SoleSavy we have lots of resources and tools to help you prepare for a release so you can increase your chances of getting the sneakers you really want.

First there’s your Slack Community we just introduced you to. Do not underestimate the power of your fellow peers, we are all here to empower each other. Leverage your community & the SoleSavy team by engaging your community and asking questions. We can all learn from each other.

Monitors:

Monitors are technology we have integrated into slack you will see channel’s titles that start with #_monitor-’ then followed by a brand name.

In these channels direct product links & size links are automatically posted here. This means when you follow these channels with your notifications turned on for the brands you want you will get instant notification when that product drops.

Every notification you get (except for SNKRS) also includes "ATC" aka Add To Cart links that allow you to select your size. When you click or tap on your size the shoes get added to your cart instantly and that takes you to checkout to complete payment. This helps shave precious seconds when purchasing.

Tip click the plus next to channels to browse all the monitor channels. Mute channels you're not interested in to optimize your notifications for only updates that are important to you.

What is Anti-bot technology?

In the last 5 years there has been a huge increase in resellers using bot technology to buy up high volumes of inventory. This means that regular people who just want to purchase their favorite pair are fighting against lightning fast bot technology. Retailers have started to add new technology on their websites to protect against these bots. Specifically Shopify based sites use anti bot technology, which many major retailers use.

What is the Pre-cart Method?

The Pre-cart Method is SoleSavy’s Strategy to help you shave off minutes when purchasing during a release.

The Pre-cart Method is designed to optimize Shopify’s anti-bot check out flow by setting up a cart before release, prepping your payment methods, browser and most importantly preparing you for a release.

This method doesn't guarantee you will purchase the items you want however it drastically improves your chance, largely by increasing your checkout speed.

This method helps give you the advantage when purchasing sneakers from the Shopify based sites that use anti-bot technology.

Helpful resources:

Near release day we provide our members with information covering stock numbers, Shopify websites, and captcha answers. Each release happens differently. Before drop day, you should have gotten in as many pre-chart reps as possible. Login to the Member Pre-Chart simulator tool to perfect your checkout speed.

What are Raffles?

Raffles consists of submitting an entry to win a new sneaker. Stores usually choose limited releases to be raffled. Daily, we provided a list of US and International raffles to enter. A typical raffle entry will require you to submit an email, mailing address, phone, shoe size, and payment information. If you are selected as a winner you will be charged retail price. Then the shoe will either be shipped or picked up from the store.

We encourage members to download DROPS by SoleSavy to use the raffle tracker. Raffles can also be accessed through the #raffles channel in Slack.
