What is a reshipper?

A reshipper is like having a friend over in another country, you send items to them, and after they receive the item, they send it to you! This type of service is in such high demand that there are entire companies that only do this for people.

What benefits do they provide?

One of the biggest benefits is that you are now able to enter for US-exclusive releases! Any releases you might be interested in will likely have releases in the US that only ship to the US, so having a reshipper lets you get around this! Another advantage is that some reshippers (like the main one we recommend) are located in places with lower tax rates than you might be accustomed to, which saves you a few bucks. Lastly, with reshippers you generally are allowed to self-declare the value of your items for customs (more on that later)

Why can’t I ship too my home address?

You might be wondering, “If a store ships directly to Canada, why would I bother with a reshipper?”, which is a very valid question. Although stores may ship to Canada, it doesn’t always apply to all products.

As of lately Nike/Jordan Brand have placed restrictions on their products that now prohibits stores from shipping their products outside of the country they are located in! So to bypass that, you’ll need a reshipper.

Another reason you might want to consider not shipping straight to Canada are duty fees! Sadly duties are just a normality for Canadians, but when a store sends a product to Canada they legally need to declare the product for Customs as the dollar amount you paid. So, for example, if you paid $300 for a pair of Jordans, you could be seeing duties of 30% + your provincial sales taxes + PST, ouch.

When can’t I use a reshipper?

Thankfully, the restrictions for when you can’t use a reshipper are slim! But you’ll be hard pressed to hear that the Nike US website and US SNKRS app are places that will not ship to Stackry or pretty much any other reshipper.

Theres so many reshippers based on our experience we recommend:

  1. TipTans (China, Hong Kong, UK, EU)
If you set up a TipTrans account for the CLOT release, they have a UK address in Liverpool and a EU address in Germany you can use so try that first.

  2. Re-Ship (UK, Canada, USA)
Re-ship is also another option as they have address in the US, Canada and UK. Use code 6QD77EV1 for a $10 credit after your first package.

  3. Stackry (US)
We commonly recommend Stackry for Canadiens
